Moody Center for the Arts

The Moody Center for the Arts at Rice University was built to foster cross-disciplinary connections across Rice’s campus while establishing Houston (and Rice) as an arts hub.
The Lantern, a bold, offset frame that highlights a group of beams that connect at a center point or meeting point. Taking inspiration from the building and the university’s architecture the lantern became core to the Moody’s brand identity, leveraged as a device to frame and illuminate the many experiences at play in the building.
